What is The SOAP Dish?
Spending time in God's Word is the foundation of a deeper relationship with Him. But in a world full of distractions, it can be hard to slow down and truly engage with Scripture. The SOAP Dish was built to change that.
At its core, The SOAP Dish is a digital Bible study journal built around the SOAP method — a simple, powerful approach to Scripture that encourages you to read with intention, reflect with purpose, and respond in prayer. Grab your favorite Bible (physical or digital) and use The SOAP Dish as your companion to journal through each passage. Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour, The SOAP Dish gives you the tools to make every moment in the Word count.
You can study on your own, share your insights with a team, and help spread the Word to those who may not yet know Him.

What is SOAP?
SOAP is a Bible study method that walks you through four steps for every passage you read:
✏️ Scripture
Write down the verse or passage you're studying. The simple act of writing it out slows you down and helps the words sink in.
👀 Observation
Look closely at the text. Who is writing? Who is the audience? When was it written? What stands out to you? The goal is to understand the passage in its original context.
💡 Application
Bridge the gap between Scripture and your daily life. How does this passage apply to you today? What would your life look like if you truly lived by these words? Make it personal.
🙏 Prayer
Close your study by talking to God about what you've read. Ask for help understanding His Word and for guidance to apply it to your life.

About The SOAP Dish
The SOAP Dish was born out of a middle school small group. With younger generations spending more and more time on screens, the idea was simple — why not meet them where they are and give them a positive, faith-centered reason to pick up their phone?
What started as a small proof of concept has grown into a full platform with a clear mission: make spending time in God's Word accessible, engaging, and community-driven for everyone.
